Join our independent legal support network

Solicitor & legal professional registration

Help professional boxers understand their rights and access qualified, independent legal support. Apply to join Boxing WatchDog's developing network of legal professionals.

How the network will work

We are seeking solicitors and appropriately regulated legal professionals with experience in sports law, contracts, disputes and boxer welfare. Applications are reviewed individually, including checks of professional status and potential conflicts.

Independence first. Registration does not guarantee referrals, endorsement, panel membership or paid work. Boxer cases will never be automatically shared with applicants. Each referral requires an appropriate case-specific authorisation, checks and a separate engagement agreement between the boxer and legal adviser.

Commercial partnership

Referral fees & ongoing network services

Boxing WatchDog proposes a commercial arrangement with approved legal professionals for qualifying introductions and ongoing network services. These are proposed terms only; no payment obligation arises from submitting this application.

Initial referral fee

To be agreed

Proposed fixed fee for an eligible, documented BWD introduction that results in a new solicitor-client instruction, where permitted by the applicable rules.

Ongoing network / service fee

To be agreed

Proposed monthly fee for separately defined network participation and services. Not automatically a share of a boxer's damages, settlement or legal fees.

Exact amounts, billing triggers, exclusions, VAT, cancellation terms and reporting arrangements must be agreed in a separate written commercial agreement before any charges apply.

Professional and client safeguards: Any arrangement is subject to the relevant professional rules, required disclosure to the boxer, informed client choice, conflict checks and solicitor independence. Some referral fees, including in personal injury matters, may be prohibited. BWD will not charge for prohibited referrals.

Privacy: Your application details will be stored in a private server-side database and used to assess potential collaboration and contact you about this application. They will not be listed publicly or passed to boxers without further agreement. Before public launch, Boxing WatchDog must publish a complete privacy notice covering its controller details, lawful basis, retention and your data rights.

Professional safeguards

Applicants are not approved automatically. Professional registration, practising status, insurance and conflicts must be checked before any referrals. Boxing WatchDog is not a law firm and does not itself provide regulated legal representation. Referral arrangements must comply with applicable professional rules, and no confidential boxer case information will be released solely because an application has been submitted.
